VOC++ Documentation
This document explains the advantages and disadvantages of VOC++.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS IN COMPARISON WITH TRADITIONAL VOODOO CHAT v1.0 beta 1.

- "Continuous" (tail) type of the chat with C-daemon (daemon.cpp) exclusively supported;
- Windows® operation system is not supported;
- "Files" engine for dynamic and static data only;
- Personal message board transformed into guestbook;
- VOC++ works only with the "rozmova" design, which is shipped in archive. Standard and third-party designes for Voodoo Chat are not supported;
- Recompilation and restart of the daemon required;
- Replacement of all files in chat directory required;
- "Club Mode" always must be ON;
- "IFRAME menu" technology is depricated;
- Avatars are not supported for users, only for clans (see below).

ADDITIONAL FEATURES IN COMPARISON WITH TRADITIONAL VOODOO CHAT v1.0 beta:

- Alternative style of posting "private" messages (via Ctrl + Enter for Microsoft Internet Explorer);
- User groups (administration, girls, boys, etc..) in userlist are shown as separate groups with number of users in each one;
- Highliting for "group" messages;
- New cool design (idea by http://chat.avanport.com with kind sanction of administration);
- "Invisibility" mode for Moderators, only other Moderators can see "invisible" nicks with a "[*]" sign before nickname. Moderator can login as "invisible man" by typing the "*" symbol before nickname. Other statuses, such as "Away" or "DND" are also supported;
- Separate private channels for all groups of users
- Private messages log is built-in into administrator panel (only Moderators with "Edit Profile" right could use it);
- Common messages logs built-in into administrator panel with different filters;
- Personal message board transformed into guestbook;
- Moderator sees IP, cookie hash, reiting and other stuff including WHOIS information about users domain in users profile;
- Moderator can post "system" messages;
- Users can virtually marry each other;
- Custom "greeting" and "goodbye" system messages are avaliable for each user;
- New type of punishment: MUTE -- read-only mode;
- More exact IP determination mechanism is used for users with proxy servers (External IP : Inner IP);
- "Favourite emoticons" technology: user can select only his favourite emoticons to chat frame;
- IP, browser hash and cookie hash can be located for each user;
- "Similar nicks" search by IP, browser hash, e-mail and password;
- Custom status such as "Big Macho" is avaliable for each user;
- English, Russian and Ukrainian language packs are avaliable;
- New user class: Shaman. Shamans could marry users and damn them. Damnation is a sort of warning, three damnations are equal to ban. Also Shaman can give an artefact for protection against one damnation. Moderator can punish Shaman;
- Users can unite into clans. Each clan has its own avatar, logo, administration, clan states.
- FBI data file for each user :-). Here Moderator can see how polite was user and also post his opinion;
- Buttons in message bar for main punishment actions;
- Custom style of messages for each user;
- Reiting system (TOP 20) - "who is the best chatter"? This feaure counts seconds of conversation in the common channel (not in private!)
- Public messages erasing (still experimental);
- Filter for public messages. When filter is on, user receive only his public messages.
- HTML nick is shown in users profile, if exists.
